An Electrical Build Interface Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.

Description
The main task within this role will be to provide the interface between the prototype/production manufacturing areas and the infotainment team. This will involve being the contact point for all infotainment related issues from the build areas. The successful candidate will be expected to resolve many of these issues independently, but will be able to refer to the infotainment team based in Whitley for support when required. Typical issues that will be expected to be resolved include: Bill of material issues, issues around bill of process, electrical problem resolution on vehicles, diagnostic issues with both vehicle and plant equipment and part fitment issues.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
The role will suit a pro-active engineer able to work with little direct supervision and able to take responsibility for ensuring delivery of projects/products within set timeframes. Electrical debugging skills are a requirement for this role.

Skills Preferred:
Bill of material analysis/management. CANalyser experience. MOSTalyser experience.

Details
Experience Required:
Experience of a product delivery from prototype builds through to production builds preferably in an automotive environment is desirable.

Education Required:
Degree in a relevant area or equivalent experience in a similar role.

Additional Information:
This role will be based at Solihull, but there will be travel required to the main electrical engineering facilities in Whitley and Gaydon.
