Automotive Powertrain Engineers required.
Long-term Contract Positions available.
Contract Rates: £18 - £28 per hour.
Locations include: Warwick and West Midlands.
Do you have Automotive Powertrain experience?
A number of Design Engineers, Development Engineers, Test Engineers, Validation Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers and Project Managers are required to work for leading automotive OEM companies, in the Midlands and Essex.
Our clients are typically looking for skills in the following areas:
- Fuel efficiency standards and Engine Test
- Engine Systems
- Subsystems – Exhaust, air intake, manifolds etc
- Gasoline or Diesel Engine Calibration
- Design and development of cooling systems and components
- Base Engines, Transmission & Driveline
- OEM Processes and Releasing Systems
- Knowledge of relevant quality tools e.g. FMEA, 8D, TS16949 etc
- Catia, Unigraphics, Solidworks, Pro-E
- Powertrain system design / development or programme management
- Whole engine management systems, (ECU) Engine Control Units (EMS)
Engine Management systems, calibration and system modelling tools - NVH
- Hybrid Technology
- CAE/CFD principles and processes
- Aftertreatment
- Lubrication
