As the Safety CAE Principal Engineer working on vehicle programmes within the structural and safety CAE team, the job will include the following responsibilities:

  • Leadership of the safety CAE competency on vehicle projects
  • Support all aspects of pre and post processing of LS-Dyna high speed load cases
  • Project management of programmes, adopting a disciplined and methodical approach to their work
  • Work across other CAE functions and code domains to gain a whole vehicle appreciation
  • Primarily UK based, there will be the need to spend approximately one week in 12 overseas at the parent company
  • Occasional travel to test facilities, suppliers and other world-wide locations will also be necessary on an adhoc basis

Main tasks and activities will include the following:
