Manage and direct the design release of Climate Control / HeVAC, HVAC systems / components, including BoM`s, system design specifications, supplier management.
Direct or conduct system thermal analysis using appropriate CAE tools such as. KULI or Radtherm.
Direct CFD and cabin thermal CAE analysis to aid in the design of the system and manage passenger thermal comfort.
Develop and manage vehicle targets, DVP`s, and programme status documents.
Conduct testing in environmental test facilities and on development hot and cold climate trips, including; management of vehicle instrumentation / data acquisition and processing, analyzing and reporting of test data.
Be able and willing to spend up to 1 week in 8 overseas.

A minimum of 3 years experience in Climate Control / HeVAC / HVAC systems development gained in the Automotive, RAIL, AEROSPACE, MILITARY or DEFENCE industries.

The role is predominantly based in the open-plan department in the Coventry office, although during the development and validation phase of the project cycle, 30-50% of the time will be spent at the customer's site.

Reporting to a Senior Project Engineer, the individual will be responsible for supporting the design and development of solutions for a major infotainment project.

This will include:

This role forms part of the Assembly Maintenance Team and is primarily responsible for ensuring preventative maintenance on the assembly line to ensure production delivery.
