Support, maintain and enhance the database platform for the business systems and provide strategic input for the ongoing provision of a suitable database environment. Provide expertise in understanding the business processes, translating them into systems processes, ensuring the business systems reflect and support the business processes demands placed on the systems are handled efficiently

Essential

· Prior exposure to Business Systems (specifically ERP) both COTS and in-house applications

· Ability to prepare specifications, define processes and test bespoke applications

· Database Administration including SQL server performance management

· Expert knowledge and the ability to implement SQL server: Reporting Services, Integration Services, Stored Procedures, Triggers and Functions.

· Ability to deliver complex projects within business constraints.

· Analytical mindset with programming experience

· Ability to communicate at the appropriate level

Desirable

· Prior experience or exposure to Efacs

· Delivery of user training and documentation

· Experience of constructing MDX queries · Implementation of OLAP cubes

· Prior experience of data interfaces
