Concept Planning
Act as central receiving area for all requests for product and volume change
Prepare detail response documents and action plan to support the requirements
Track and report active projects and deficiencies / deadlines. Programme Management
Receive, analyse and distribute Programme Direction Letters for assessment by full team.
Collate and review inputs from separate Technologies for accuracy, feasibility and content.
Create consolidated document review inputs against overall manufacturing strategy, company objectives, manufacturing engineering scorecards: assess impact and initiate actions to resolve any conflicts.

To provide a professional engineering service to the companies projects department.
Main Accountabilities:-

Provide Engineering support and technical advice on plant failures, within both the refining and packing processes.

Analyse plant performance from an engineering perspective, develop and implement improvement plans.

Manage Assigned Capital and Improvement projects within time-scales and costs.

Develop site engineering standards for managing site projects and procurement functions.

Contract owner for nominated non-core activities.

Provide technical training as required to maintenance and operations staff.

Work alongside Process Engineers / Plant Managers to optimise plant performance.

Performance Measures:-

Project generation and delivery.

Technical investigation turnaround within quality guidelines and stewardship of recommendations/actions.

Projects managed completed on schedule within budget , and with no safety incidents.



Skills and Knowledge:-

Educated to Degree Level or equivalent.

Chartered status.

Technical Experience in:-

*Rotating equipment.

*Piping

*Conveyor systems

*Materials selection

*Packaging

*Capital projects experience

*Demonstrates ability for problem solving

*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

*Self motivated

*Knowledge of Health, Safety and environmental systems and procedures

A new ongoing contract opportunity has arisen for a Design Engineer in the Leicestershire area.

The Engineer will work as part of the Hydraulic Lines team that supports both current and NPI projects.

This role will have responsibility for both developing new hydraulic lines solutions and resolving current issues for a back hoe loader product.

This will entail working closely with other engineering disciplines as well as operations and manufacturing engineering to deliver robust, cost effective and velocity driven designs.

The role will include concept design, validation and release of drawings through the engineering systems.


Essential Requirements:

- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent industry experience
- Pro/Engineer skills
- Ability to self direct and work effectively in a diverse team environment
- Excellent communication skills as a lot of liaison with other teams is required

Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles.

They currently have an ongoing contract opportunity for a Senior Engineer for Interior Trim. The role is based in Coventry and the individual will report to the Interior Trim Lead Engineer.

Duties to include:


- Leading and supporting the Interior CAD Team taking direction from the individual Trim PE.
- Responsibility for feasibility and detail design of Interior Trim.
- Development of concepts to solve issues prior to engineering release.
- Ensuring the CAD Team meet the project release dates.
- All work will be carried out on Catia V5 release 17.


Role Requirements:


- Degree qualified or similar qualification.
- A minimum of five years automotive experience is essential.
- Strong numeracy and literacy.
- Good logical reasoning.
- Capable of leading a project element with support from more senior staff when necessary.
- Effective team member contributing to improvements and high customer service.
- Demonstrates depth of knowledge in a relevant technical speciality. Some will already be chartered or working towards
chartered status.
