A new ongoing contract opportunity has arisen for an IVN Test Planner to work within a Global Test Facilities Planning division.

Global Test Facilities and Planning is part of the Vehicle Evaluation and Verification department and the purpose of the job is to plan and manage the world wide test plan (WWTP) for the whole of Product Development whilst ensuring that full budget control is maintained.

- Assist in the creation of the PD world wide test plan inclusive of all testing and shipping requirements inline with the defined budget
- Control all requests for outsourcing testing and shipping throughout the year
- Administration of invoices through closed loop accounting processes
- Supplier invoice meetings
- Coaches and gives guidance to engineers and factory managers for all testing and shipping process requirements
- Responsible for raising and managing orders to ensure zero delays in PD test programme delivery
- Develops control process for testing, shipping and material movement activities.
- Responsible for the presentation and explanation of JLR testing and accounting processes
- Co-ordination of all PD CoC`s, inclusive of ETO, to enable the development of the WWTP and budget alignment


Role Requirements:

- Educated to Degree level in a business related discipline would be preferable
- Full understanding of finance, purchasing and invoice accounts processes (CORA, GAPS, ITE Soft Share)
- Expert level in Microsoft Excel
- IT sysyem experience
- Some budget and cost management experience would be an advantage
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels of the organisation and with external Suppliers / Customers
- Being self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
- Synchronisation of order approval, shipping approval and invoice approvals
- Accounting and numeracy skills
- Business and commercial acumen
- Full Driving licence
