    We seek a qualified accountant, probably ACMA, to work alongside our Managing Director. Your financial management and cost accounting skills gained in the manufacturing environment will support our continuing growth and your success is likely to lead to an appointment to the Board.

    THE COMPANY:

Employing some 45 people we are one of the fastest growing companies in the UK in our specialist sector of the metal components and fabrication market. This important new appointment, based in Warwickshire, arises to reinforce our further development.

    THE ROLE:

    Reporting to our Managing Director your responsibilities will include all aspects of financial control, management information and cost accounting to support business decisions.

    Confident in your hands-on ability to deliver on the technical front you will enjoy making a proactive contribution to the management of the company and you will help shape the future of the business.

    THE PERSON:

    You must demonstrate first-class financial management and cost accounting skills together with a track record of success in the manufacturing environment.

    It is anticipated that the salary will be in the range £35k to £40k plus all the usual benefits expected at this level. However the agreement of terms will not be an obstacle in securing the right candidate.

    NVH Principal Engineer

    Our client is a Centre of Excellence in the development of Electric Vehicles (EV) and Hybrid Powertrains, it also offers consultancy services in whole vehicle development. Based in Coventry on a very pleasant university campus, it now has an opportunity for a talented Principal Engineer to lead Vehicle and Powertrain NVH test and analysis projects.

    This role is based in Coventry and will also require travel to India, frequency to be discussed at interview.

    Responsibilities;

  • Act as an NVH advisor and consultant on several concurrent automotive engineering projects
  • Support and/or conduct data acquisition and drive appraisal activities
  • Provide NVH support to the design engineering teams in the UK and India
  • Develop design guidelines, processes and procedures
  • Provide NVH status to Project Reviews
  • Develop refinement improvement strategies (Vehicle and/or Driveline)
    Candidate profile;
  • Mechanical/acoustics engineering degree (BEng/MEng/BSc/MSc/Phd)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience of Vehicle/Powertrain NVH test and analysis for an automotive OEM or consulting house
  • Experienced in use of NVH test instrumentation and methodologies (Powertrain /mounting systems/driveline refinement/TPA/sound quality engineering, signal processing, data analysis and presentation)
  • Experienced in using one or more of the following software acquisition and
    analysis tools:- MATLAB / LMS CADA-X / LMS Test.Lab / HEAD Artemis
  • Project engineering skills (timing plans, work instructions, costing, reporting, data presentation, health and safety)
