They have aggressive expansion plans for the next few years and one of the best factory/shopfloor facilities that I have seen. A very methodical firm that are moving up at the right pace and certainly one with a reputation that can only be enhanced by their work, their emphasis moving forward is much more about the quality of the product and procedure.

The firm take materials and chemically clean them, and then move them into manufacture for very high precision components, they typically work on products less then 1.5mm and provide them into the electronics sector working on mobile phones and satellites. The other products produced are to a lesser specification and are produced for the automotive sector, a very fast paced environment with tight lead in times.

This role is reporting to the Manufacturing Manager and working as part of a team encompassing 5 other cell leaders, they are looking for a proactive individual who can challenge their processes and way of manufacturing. You'll be from a quality or production background and have had exposure to lean methodology (5S, Kaizen, RCA, PPAP, FMEA amongst others) and quality standards (TS, AS or ISO 9001) in a high precision environment, any experience with specialist electronics firms or firms that produce PCB's would be very sought after.

A challenging, fast paced and rewarding role, the firm is very busy and this role will further bolster their finished product going out of the door. This role is more about attitude rather than academic qualifications, you need to have a common sense approach and a hard working attitude with a HND at least. Previous management experience is essential, ideally from a manufacturing background as is an outgoing and proactive personality. This is a permanent role with a good salary and working on a day shift.
