A leading supplier of sugar to the UK market, producing an extensive range of sugar products to international food, drink and pharmaceutical manufacturers are now looking for a Development Manufacturing Manager.
As the Manufacturing Manager you will identify, develop and integrate manufacturing opportunities and solutions across Finished Product sites which deliver measurable and sustainable improvements in Safety, Productivity, Cost, Quality, Service and Reputation.
The successful candidates' responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

Develop and implement Equipment Availability Strategy at site (Asset utilisation and strategy, maintenance regime):
Maintain and execute Asset Roadmap to deliver Corporate Strategy and Goals
Maintain and execute rolling 5year equipment and asset care strategy (repair vs replace)

Ensure alignment and cohesion across Site, Supply Chain and Corporate Objectives and in line with CAPEX and OPEX targets br

Drive continuous improvement across Finished Products to ensure:
Consistent performance metrics and targets are implemented and achieved for Assets - reliability, productivity and availabilitybr
Effective business case design and evaluation for Finished Products CAPEX and OPEX Equipment Availability Projects (objectives, scope, approach, deliverables, tender design, supplier evaluation, resource requirements and timelines)

Advocate and Champion World Class Manufacturing Base across Finished Product Sites:
Influence and encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, best practice across the Finished Products and Site Engineering

The Manufacturing Manager will hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline with extensive and demonstrable experience of conveying and packaging equipment within FMCG/Food sector manufacturing
Broad experience in initiating and leading equipment reliability improvements in a high-volume, FMCG/Food manufacturing environmentbr
Experience of working in a lean operating environment, and as part of a high-performance team and experience of identifying, developing and implementing process and operational change within a FMCG environment.
