A world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment are now looking for a HIL Project Systems Engineer to work on the development and maintenance of HIL (hardware in the loop) simulator systems used for real-time electronics control systems development and validation.
As the HIL Project Engineer you will be responsible for:
Working as apart of a specific project team (i.e. Ford, VW etc). To work on project specific test case/test execution development.

- HIL simulator system set up and maintenance (HW and SW)
- HIL Model development and integration
- Test Framework development and maintenance
- Test automation
- HIL simulator user support

The successful applicant will be educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics or Software with experience with HIL simulator or rapid prototyping platforms in automotive/rail/aerospace industry.

As the Project Engineer you will have Knowledge of Automotive Internal Combustion Engine fundamentals and modelling with an understanding of Diesel Engine Control strategies, ECU Hardware and sensor/actuator interfaces
Python programming experience and Matlab/Simulink tool chain (RTW in particular) experience and long with dSPACE tool chain (Control Desk, Automation Desk, etc.) experience
Knowledge of XML/XSLT standards and developing Validation Tests for dSpace HiL
