Programme Manager

Job Responsibilities:
To manage the execution of a number of concurrent projects with a range of customers whilst ensuring that the Business Unit:
- Exceeds the Customer's requirements
- Achieves World Class delivery, quality and reliability performance
- Delivers profitable growth
- Maintains continuous improvement and lead time reduction in all operational areas
Responsible for:
- Ensuring that the appropriate resources and skills are available to meet demands.
- Providing reports as required to Customers and to the Management Team.
- Networking with a wide range of personnel, who contribute to the business unit activities, both within the organisation and outside.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree level education (or equivalent) in an engineering or technical subject
- Proven experience in programme management
- Excellent contract negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- Excellent problem solving skills
- An appreciation of hydraulic engineering and design practices is desirable
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft office and project, JD Edwards experience would be of benefit
- Innovate in approach and solution generation
- Keen Lean practitioner, with knowledge of Lean enterprise
Full driving licence and prepared to travel internationally is also a requirement.
