Provide day-to-day customer interface. Project manage, lead, and develop continuous improvement activities. Achieve quality standards in the manufacturing process. Establish and maintain key customer relationships, internal and external
DESCRIPTION: A leading company in the manufacture of electronic facia instruments for major OEMs are currently seeking a Quality Manager.
VAC REQ :Specific skills and experience to role:
Experience of interfacing with OEM customers, preferably with experience working for an automotive first tier supplier
Working knowledge and understanding of the application of Quality Engineering tools and methodologies
Technically orientated with the ability to understand quickly new product and process technologies.
Experience as customer quality interface with demanding customers
Flexible attitude and approach to problem resolution
Strong communication and presentation skills - written and verbal
Excellent relationship building and team working skills - internally and externally
Good organisational and planning skills
General managerial skills - projects, problem resolution and people issues
Qualifications:
Electronics qualification degree or similar
Knowledge of QS9000/TS16949
