The company are seeking a person who has previous experience in these areas and can also advise on tooling (specialist jigs and fixtures) and design, particularly at DFA stage.

Any quality experience would be well received (poke yoke in particular) as well as exposure to Lean or Continuous Improvement techniques.

If you have strong manufacturing engineering experience in the paint sector, then you`d be well suited for this role. They are seeking a person with an ONC as a minimum academic standard; a degree is preferred.

As the Active Safety PAT Leader your role will include:

Leading the Active Safety attribute development, design, specifications and verification for AML vehicle programs
Controlling the vehicle and subsystem DVP and test and development budget for safety development on vehicle programs (control/review)
Leading integration of active safety systems to ensure efficient HMI and a high quality user experience
Driving engineering issue resolution to meet all program targets and constraints, while leading engineering decision making towards issue resolution
Liasing with project teams as active safety representative for program
Ensuring active safety related concerns are resolved to the highest quality and on time
Personal Requirements:
Full driving license
Engineering degree (or equivalent)
Experience in Vehicle Safety Systems engineering is essential, with externally recognised depth of expertise in active safety integration
The ability to successfully integrate active safety technology to targets
Knowledge of ergonomics and HMI
Experience of leadership or clear evidence of leadership ability

Job Requirements
