Client has been established as a specialist in the global automotive industry, both as a successful manufacturer of sports cars and as a leading engineering consultancy for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.
The Lead Designer will be a highly experienced working designer and will act as team leader for projects that require directing a team of Trimmers and Designers. They will also interface with other technical disciplines. The role will require a high level of technical skill and maturity.
You will carry out and / or supervise 2D sketch work, 3D CAD based designs / visualisations. You will provide hands-on supervision for development and application colour and trim proposals.
Ideally you will have a textile design degree with a good portfolio and significant experience of running multiple interior or exterior programmes.
