They have invested over 200m in new equipment and are at the forefront of modern manufacturing practices and are now looking for a Layout and Logistics Engineer to have total responsibility for the planning, development and implementation of all internal processes.
As the Logistics Engineer you will cover all aspects of materials management from receipt at plant to presentation at point of fit (excluding packaging design / manufacture).

Daily Activities include but are not limited to:
Support Problem and Countermeasure meetings for both MPandL and Production.
Support plant Safety meeting activity for MPandL and Production.
Manage site pallet repair process and specification / contract requirements with contractor.
Review / follow up Production and MPandL End of Shift (EOS report) fall down issues relating to logistics engineering.
Drive internal department Work Group board process. Manage and update all metrics relating to master schedule and scorecard objectives.
Champion MPandL site environmental requirements. Review annual objectives and targets, aspects and impacts and programmes.
The successful candidate must have a degree in electrical engineering or relevant technical discipline with experience of AutoCAD and Practical Problem Solving and Lean Logistics in a manufacturing environment.

Must have the ability to analyse data and present potential solutions.

This role is mainly a dayshift role, but may be required to work 2 shifts to support production requirements. Must be able to work additional hours at short notice.

They are seeking to appoint a Calibration Engineer on a permanent basis. The individual will be responsible for the calibration of W12 and V8 engines to meet regulations and product enhancements concerning exhaust emissions, OBDII, fuel consumption, drivability and for all markets worldwide

Reporting to the Engine Calibration Senior Engineer, the individual will be responsible for the following:

- Creation of specifications for EMS calibration.
- Calibration of EMS using ETAS development tools (INCA etc) with Bosch functionality.
- Specification and validation of software functions.
- Compilation and validation of datasets.
- Planning test and development programs including: engine and vehicle preparation and instrumentation; test program specification.
- Conducting and supervising tests in test facilities across National and International locations.
- Planning and participation in hot and cold field trials in various locations around the world.
- Management of suppliers.
- Liaison with other departments.
- Support of prototype cars and engines.


Role Requirements:

- Degree in relevant engineering discipline or HNC in Engineering; or relevant experience.
- Significant experience of EMS calibration on Bosch ME7 or ME9 (or other EMS with electronic throttle control and torque based architecture) including engine mapping, exhaust emissions, OBDII and drivability in hot, cold and high altitude conditions.
- Experience of using INCA with Bosch functionality.
- A full understanding of exhaust emission and OBDII regulations and fuel specifications worldwide.
- PC literate, good communication skills, be proven self-starter and work independently.
- Communicate effectively at all levels
- Excellent problem solving skills

They are currently seeking to recruit a CAD/Packaging Engineer on an ongoing contract basis.

The position is based primarily in the Warwick area, although international travel may be required from time to time to meet programme requirements.

The individual will be responsible for the following:

* Vehicle Compatibility - Ensure detail component designs are compatible and lead resolution of cross-aggregate compatibility issues until resolution actions are agreed.
* Digital Vehicle Approval - Approve compatibility of all new releases, prior to data being released in Teamcenter.
* Work with interfacing functions to improve the robustness and usability of the PLM derived DMU.
* Identify package issues through weekly CAD and DMU reviews.
* Ensure vehicle architecture compatibility prior to Styling freeze.
* Maintain an issue management tracker.
* Update major issue status via the customer`s system.
* Ensure compliance to package standards e.g Standard clearances between components, ground clearance, tyre envelopes etc.
* Co-ordination and leadership of cross-functional teams consisting of internal and external personnel to confirm optimal solutions for issues.
* Ensure compatibility between occupant and mechanical package assumptions, development and delivery.

Core Requirements:

- Minimum of five years automotive experience is essential.

Role Requirements:
