Engineer Specialists

Power Train
The role is to be a key system leader within the base engine department with technical leadership expertise in at least one area of base engine engineering.
Candidates must be technical leaders capable of managing a small team and providing technical guidance and decision making in at least one key area of engine engineering, FEAD or sensors and actuators.
Skills Required:
The base engine, sensors, actuators and Front end ancillaries drive (FEAD) departments are undergoing growth and need specialist engineers with delivery experience in areas of petrol / diesel system engineering, FEAD concept layout, electro-mechanical system engineering, fault diagnosis and technology strategy.
Essential skills include an in-depth knowledge of base engine systems engineering either in a design environment of a development and test environment.
High level of communication and organisational skills In depth knowledge of quality tools application and supplier management For test engineers an in depth knowledge of engine test methods on dyno and in vehicle a deep working knowledge of at least on specialised area of the department either within engine system design(Petrol or diesel), engine test and development .
Skills Preferred:
Additional skills preferred would be in the application of engineering systems on high performance diesel engines, combined with concept to launch experience.
Education:
Degree Preferred.
