Electrical Systems Engineer

£23 - 25 per hour
We are recruiting for an Electrical Systems Engineer position on an ongoing contract to be based in Peterborough.
This position will specifically support Tracked Machine applications.
This position will work with a team of electrical, electronic and mechanical engineers and be accountable for contributing to the cost-effective concepting, development, design, schematics and detailing of machine electrical systems and subsystems.
Candidates may work more directly with different organisational units, suppliers, customers and/or other teams located around the world.
This requires the ability to communicate technical information in a concise and accurate manner. Success factors for this position include demonstrating a mastery of electrical engineering concepts.
Major challenges facing candidates are meeting goals for project delivery dates, cost, defect free designs, reliability and performance, and managing multiple priorities
Minimum Requirements:
- An accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Candidates have usually gained 4 to 7 years of experience and are able to perform complex assignments.
- A self-starter with strong technical collaboration skills.
- Must have ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well employees in other units and suppliers worldwide.
