A world leading supplier of high performance transmissions, requires a Design Engineer to provide support due to increased product demand. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that for nearly two decades has ensured that customers from all sectors meet, or even exceed, their targets by drawing on their unique blend of design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Specialising in Transmission Technology, supplying the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Marine and Motor Sports Sectors.
Reporting to a Senior Engineer and working as part of a small cohesive team, the Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and detail of gearbox components and complete transmission systems in consultation with the production/manufacturing group.
Ideally Degree qualified, candidates will have proven experience within the design and development of rotating mechanical components preferably for Transmission, Driveline and/or Differential projects. Candidates will possess design capabilities using UG NX5.
