The successful candidate will work with suppliers, inspection and build to deliver prototype parts for test development and work with test and development to formulate validation plans and feed the results back into component FMEAs.

Qualifications & Skills

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience will be required.

You will need to have NX experience and solid modelling and detail drafting capabilities essential. The ideal candidate must have experience in design of powertrain components for automotive or rail applications and knowledge of relevant production processes, materials and assembly techniques. Ideally Knowledge of relevant quality systems and tools such as DFA, DFM and Design for low cost production would be helpful.

  • Appreciation of rotating machines/electric motors
