As a Component / Sub System or Systems Engineer within the Pti team, the successful candidate will have responsibility for design and release of the relevant PTi commodities into the affected vehicle lines. Lead the integration of the PTi commodity into the vehicle to meet DCDQ requirements and brand specific DNA goals with responsibility for the design, development and releasing of the systems to meet cost, weight, reliability, NVH and durability objectives. Responsible for gathering and analysing powertrain and vehicle functional requirements and translating these into component and sub-system specifications.
Skills Required:
Experience in a related engineering activity with experience of definition and development of hardware functionality is desirable. Familiarity with overall powertrain function and knowledge of Powertrain attributes (NVH, Durability, Cost, Weight etc) would be desirable. Experience of work planning and project management techniques and the normal suite of engineering development tools (FMEA, DVP, 8D, etc.) are desirable.
Experience in either Manual Transmissions Driveline, Air Induction.
Education Preferred:
Beng or BSc in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
