We are recruiting for a Building Services Engineer on a ongoing contract based in Stafford.

As Building Services Engineer, you will take responsibility for the leading the technical aspects of design, specification, procurement, and project management of facilities and infrastructure to support the manufacturing process equipment. The role will focus on capital equipment against established process and cost metrics. Primary responsibility will be for Engine Hot Test Cells plant and service equipment focussing on water, electrical, ventilation, waste water, fuel, oil and air / exhaust systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ownership and Project management of a key value stream in the set up a new manufacturing facility - defining service infrastructure to support engine test facilities, and many other areas
* Providing project Leadership to a cross functional team (Internal and External)
* Governance of capital expenditure again the assigned areas
* Supplier Management - including system design and selection, supplier selection, specification through to installation and commissioning

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential characteristics for success will be a strong attention to detail and quality coupled with a deep understanding of their technical subject.

Essential:
* Previous experience in providing industrial building services engineering skills
* Previous Capital Project delivery
* Knowledge of acoustic systems and control processes
* Knowledge of heat transfer solutions and cooling tower processes
* Awareness of fuel oil control and delivery systems
* Working knowledge of internal combustion engines
* Highly computer literate Microsoft office and Microsoft Project
* Fluent in the use of Autocad
* Flexibility to travel to India 40-50% of your time

Desirable:
* Understanding of legislation and best practice in relation to fire prevention and detection
* Experience of working with multicultural teams
* Chartered Engineer with either IMechE or ICE
* M Eng Qualification in relevant discipline Ideally Building Services Engineering
