Engineering Specialist for the development and integration of Safety Component Systems on new model programmes.

Skills Required:
Proven Project management delivery capability, demonstrated by recent delivery of multiple projects on time and budget. Engineering knowledge of Safety Component Systems integration, component design, functional, performance, production and manufacturing requirements. Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate to all management levels. PC Literacy, particularly in the use of Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc. Significant experience in use of engineering quality tools, FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D problem resolution etc. Experience of film analysis and data interpretation. Knowledge of vehicle level safety requirements.

Skills Preferred:
CAD Literacy, ability to manipulate and interrogate CAD data and use associated visualisation tools. Ability to generate CAD data in Catia v5 would be an advantage.

Experience Required:
Previous experience working on Automotive Safety Systems.

Education Required:
Educated to degree level, in a relevant field or subject, would be preferred.
