Hydraulic Systems Engineer
Warwick, Warwickshire, England

Job Responsibilities:

*To provide a hydraulic system design and application service to the team
*Select standard components and design bespoke components and subassemblies
*Design and develop hydraulic schematics using modelling and simulation
*Develop and document test procedures
*Fault diagnosis, reporting and resolution of technical issues arising from systems
*Ensure allocated project targets are achieved
*Liaise with Quality department to ensure standards are maintained
*Ensure systems are safe to operate
*Liaise with customers directly on specific project tasks
*Work closely with all IPT personnel to improve products / procedures


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

*Excellent knowledge and experience of hydraulics, mobile hydraulic systems and mobile system control
*Degree level educated or equivalent in an Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
*Excellent and proven problem solving skills
*Ability to design a hydraulic system from a specification
*Able to understand engineering drawings
*Excellent communicator with good organisational skills
*Understanding of Lean principles
*Excellent customer facing skills
*Computer literate and excellent report writing skills
*Full UK driving licence and willing to travel within the UK and overseas

Due to the nature of the business, the successful candidate needs to be able to pass UK Defence Security Clearance
