An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to work with the worlds leading developer and manufacturer of chemical intermediaries, based in the Wolverhampton area.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will provide mechanical maintenance services to the plant and equipment, within the company policies and procedures.
As Maintenance Technician your principal responsibilities and accountabilities will be as follows:
Work safely, following Site Safety Procedures and guidelines at all times.
Provide technical support for mechanical equipment on site and represent the company in dealing with consultants and suppliers.
Perform specialist repairs and conduct fault diagnosis on rotational equipment across range
Support Site Operations for essential maintenance of plant systems and be a member of the call out rota. (currently 1 in 4 system)
Carry out the rotational Team leader's role to enable good communication and organisational requirements of maintenance and contract personnel on a daily basis.
Evaluate the status of existing site critical equipment and produce reports/recommendations. Keep up-to-date of developments within the field.
Carry out un-scheduled or evening work only when required to meet production demands and flexibility
Actively participate in site safety and training requirements. Participate in Audits and Inspections as required.
Be a member on internal reliability team when required to diagnose repeat failures modes
Act as focal point for ordering and recipient consumables
