Applications Engineer / Technical Support Engineer

£32k - 40k per year + benefits
My client a specialised in flow measurement, established for over 30 years developing expertise in flow measurement for the oil and gas industry. Require an experienced Applications Engineer / Technical Support Engineer to join their established team
REQUIREMENTS:
Evaluation/interpretation of customer data /requirements
Developing effective solutions based on customer needs
Generating bid proposals from conceptual studies through to formal tenders
Order conversion either with customers or in conjunction with regional sales managers
Contract review process
Knowledge of Contract terms and conditions, contract negotiation
Commercial knowledge i.e costing, margins
Experience in the generation of detail technical proposals process preferably within the Oil and Gas
VAC REQ :
Recognised Engineering qualification -- ideally educated to degree level in an Engineering Degree or relevant experience will be considered
Technical experience in a related role/field
Knowledge and ability to interpret detailed technical specifications
Ability to work in a team environment, including close liaison with sales engineers, product managers and Sales Managers
