FEA Analysis Chassis Durability and Reliability Engineer
Gaydon, Warwickshire, England
£23.70 - 23.70 per hour

FEA analysis of Chassis components and systems for modal, stiffness, strength and durability. Identification of design proposals and component optimisation. A person with minimal experience in the field would be considered, but they must be able to demonstrate strong aptitude and interest in this particular discipline.

Skills Required:
Knowledge of structural analysis and FEA methodologies. Strong mathematical skills. High level of drive, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.

Skills Preferred:
The ability to program in Matlab and other programming languages. An understanding of basic suspension system performance requirements e.g. Durability and Reliability, KandC, NVH etc.

Experience Required:
Limited experience in the analysis of castings, forgings or fabrications. Limited experience in the use of FEA codes.

Experience Preferred:
Experience in the use of Hyperworks, Nastran and Abaqus. FEA software Experience in fatigue analysis and the use of Ncode Design Life software.

Education Required:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent subject.
