ERP Systems Administrator
Thatcham, Berkshire, England

A world leading supplier of high performance transmissions, are now looking for an ERP System Administrator to operate as part of the IT department providing user support, system maintenance, and development of the Company's Enterprise Resource Planning System.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Work with the Head of IT to prioritise projects and schedule appropriate resources across teams. Foster cross team awareness and coordination of data and applications.
Build and maintain a good working relationship with current software vendors.
Being the Subject Matter Expert on the companies Enterprise Resource Planning System.
Carry out continual system improvement, including management of test scripts, help define scenarios, and assist in testing the system as well as quality controlling of new developments and versions of the ERP software.
Day to day system management incorporating configuration and monitoring of system parameters and performance, which may involve investigation and debugging.
Being the point of contact for support of the ERP systems will be a large part of the role, this will include the logging of all issue and resolutions, as well as assisting with the development of in-house reporting solutions.
Development of the role will lead to assessing workflow needs, identifying business requirements, suggesting change and implementing the final solution in a project managed environment.

As the ERP Systems Administrator you must have proven commercial experience to complement the high level of technical expertise that is required.
Ideally you will be familiar with Vantage/Epicor 9
Must be proactive in developing an understanding of how the company uses the ERP system.
Must have an engineering/manufacturing SME background.
