The purpose of the UK Recruitment Manger is to manage the UK recruitment team for the company. This role needs an excellent understanding of the UK recruitment market and responsibilities include process, policy, process owner for UK managed vendor relationships, people management and customer relationships.

You will be responsible for people management (employee engagement, workload, PDPs, staff development, coaching, roles and responsibilities etc) together with the continuous improvement of the UK recruitment team model including strategic sourcing, vendor management and employment branding. You will provide leadership for process improvement using the company`s Production System PQVC and CI cards, develop relationships with UK HR Managers to ensure internal customer satisfaction using agreed metrics and Service Level Agreement, roll out the model to the European facilities once established in the UK, develop key metrics for recruitment including diversity monitoring and report overall UK metrics on a regular basis. In addition, you will personally be responsible for the implementation/control of the UK recruitment processes, including understanding any local variations and keeping these to a minimum.

You must be willing to spend up to 25% of your working week away from base location. A Degree would be desired with significant HR/recruitment experience and a strong understanding of the recruitment market together with a good understanding of Business Units, excellent facilitation, organisation, change management and analytical skills coupled with previous management experience. You will also need strong communication skills (for dealing with people from Facility Managers to all employees) and must be able to build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with UK and overseas employees (often via telephone). Additionally you will need project management and problem solving skills. Full time 6 Sigma experience is highly desirable. With regard to influencing skills you must be able to obtain buy in and support from managers and HR staff around the UK.
