Principal Product Assurance Engineer

£25 per hour

A subsidiary of a global leader in aerospace, defence and related services is currently seeking to recruit a Principal Product Assurance Engineer on an initial 6 month contract basis.

Based in Stevenage, the individual will be responsible for:

- Product Assurance activities for sub-contractor supplied equipments across all telecom and various European Space Agency (ESA) projects.

- Regular supplier / customer interface.

- Quality gate reviews.

- Non Conformance review boards.

- Mechanical equipment supply


Essential Requirements:

- Minimum Engineering qualification to HNC/HND level.
- Supplier/Customer Interface management and a knowledge of engineering / quality review process including MIP, TRR, DRB, Non conformance management /NRB etc.
- Demonstrable experience in Product Assurance Role.
- Previous mechanical equipment procurement and knowledge of quality processes and NRB procedures


Desirable Attributes:

- Strong interpersonal / communications skills with a positive , pro-active approach.
- Aerospace background.
- Mechanical or propulsion experience , knowledge of EEE
