The company, a major employer of engineering skills in the North West, exports a large percentage of its production to European Community Markets. The business`s future success and development is dependent upon the application of leading-edge information technology in all aspects of design, manufacture, procurement and logistics.
As part of our ongoing development strategy we are looking to recruit a LEAN CHAMPION to drive our lean production philosophy forward. Working as a key part of the management team, your brief will include improving visual management, introducing continuous improvement tools and techniques whilst challenging the ongoing manufacturing and logistical processes. You will become the LEAN CHAMPION by developing new training, planning and co-ordinating initiatives developed from the company`s Continuous Improvement Plan. This role would suit an experienced Lean or Six Sigma practitioner with experience of developing Lean Manufacturing processes and possessing the ability to plan and work autonomously.
This role is commutable from Preston, Manchester, Burnley, Blackburn, Wigan and Bolton
