Established in the UK for almost 30 years and looking to maintain and bolster its position with a number of key appointments, we are looking for a Quality Engineer. Working in a challenging but collaborative environment with a complex, technically innovative product for some of the largest and most successful automotive OEMs in the world.

Overall responsibility for Quality assurance activities, the supervision of the Quality Assurance System, lead concern resolution and Quality improvement activities for changed products, manufacturing operations and supplier support. To lead the development and application of user-friendly world-class Quality techniques that meets the needs of the business and our customers through the effective leadership and development of departmental teams.

Improve zero Km PPM, internal scrap and RFT rejection rates in line with business and customer targets.

GCSE or equivalent Maths and English with a relevant degree or appropriate experience in a related function. You will possess a relevant quality focussed qualification with Tier 1 Automotive experience preferably. With a manufacturing and quality engineering background, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels with an ability to work under pressure. You will be able to work to own initiative and be a proven problem solver. You will have full toolbox or quality tools and techniques and be proactive and process driven.
