Diesel Engine Performance Test Engineer

Our client is currently seeking Engine Test and Performance Engineers to perform engineering tests/experiments on engines, transmissions and vehicles. The Engineer will also specify, manage and analyse tests to provide data to development teams.
You will have responsibility for the development and specification of test equipment/rigs and test method in conjunction with Engineering Technicians. The successful applicant will also be involved in the development of test cycle and data logging, analysis of test data and writing of technical reports. You will have solid experience in presentation of test data in conjunction with Engine development engineers and preparation of data and technical documents to support marketing..
The Engineer will be educated to degree level in mechanical engineering, automotive or chemical engineering. You must have proven experience in an engine test role, specifying engine tests, analysing test data and engine test problem resolution.
