Paint Shop Engineer

Part of a global organisation, this well established manufacturer of luxury vehicles is currently enjoying success within the market place. They have invested over 200m in new equipment and are at the forefront of modern manufacturing practices. An Engineer is required to work within the Paint Shop Halewood Operations plant.. The role will involve responsibility for the processes that are used to build the cars within a specific area of the Paint Shop. The role will also involve driving the main business metrics within the plant Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People, Environment and using problem solving tools to resolve build issues. This is mainly a day shift role but two shift working may be required to support Production requirements. Employee may be required to work additional hours at short notice. Essential Criteria
Degree in Engineering / Technical Discipline
Experience of working in a fast paced Manufacturing environment
Experience of working in a Paint Shop (not necessarily Automative)
Ability to analyse data and present potential solutions
Experience and ability in Practical Problem Solving
Desired Criteria
Knowledge and experience of supporting Health and Safety processes
Experience of, and ability to effectively use Lean / continuous improvement tools/ waste reduction techniques
Ability to lead Multi discipline/Cross Functional teams for Process Improvement
Evidence of Continuous Personal Development
Education Required
