Commodity Manager / Procurement

Our client is a leading electronics and communications and due to expansion are keen to receive applications from experienced Commodity Managers / Purchasing
The Commodity Manager covers component requirements, elements of site Indirect Procurement and raises Intercompany Orders.
- Procure against MRP directed requirements. Provide drawing packages for Suppliers
- Investigate obsolescence issues working with the materials engineer
- Report on Project shortages to support Production Control
- Request Quotations to support Bids and Estimates
- Year on year savings through a strategy on how this can be achieved.
- Manage OTIF delivery requirements and report on Suppliers
- Carry out Strategic Business Reviews as necessary
Procurement experience (5 years +) within the defence or electronics industry, Experience of ERP systems
