System Engineer - ITS Infotainment

Our client is a leading supplier of advanced automotive technology , systems and components for all of the world"s major automakers.
Our client is now recruiting for a System Engineer in infotainment / ITS.

This opportunity is based in Warwickshire close to the M6 / M1 and is commutable from Warwick, Birmingham, Leicester and Rugby.
Responsibilities would include: Supporting hardware and software design, analyzing customer requirements, perform gap analysis and propose solutions for the requirements, writing and maintaining specification, testing prototype and production components, supporting customer meetings / workshops, continuously developing technical and personal capabilities.

Desirable Qualifications and skills:
Infotainment, electronics, systems or related engineering degree or equivalent experience.
General office PC (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Project), automotive embedded system design / development, Ethernet, Clearquest / Clearcase, Doors.
Previous experience either in a production-oriented role (get product out on time) or customer-facing role. Automotive or similar embedded systems background. Experience of one or mere of RF tuners, media players, hands-free telephony, wireless communications, vehicle diagnostics, user-interface development.
