Are looking for a ‘Productivity Expert’, with an Industrial Engineering, and Project Management background, who is extremely self-motivated, with a determinable track record of success, in delivering measurable productivity improvement, and thus, Unit Cost Reduction. In terms of productivity gains, they’ve already picked any, ‘low lying fruit’ in the business, any gains now will be hard earned, possibilities exist, but they will require investment, and extraordinary competence to realise.

Thus the challenge is considerable, yet achievable . It is a demanding role – since  2001, they have rigorously pursued productivity improvements, and unit cost reduction with particular success, they are proud of their performance in the last decade, whilst they presently look forward to major new investment.

The individual will require the experience/competence to absorb and understand a highly automated, ‘state of the art’, engine assembly process, whilst evaluating productivity improvement to provide detailed analysis of automation/installation costs, versus manpower savings, to present payback calculations at boardroom level. The ability to identify further opportunities is also desirable.

In summary, they need a sharp minded Productivity Expert, with a sound Industrial Engineering and Project Management background, with an analytical mind, confident in his/her ability.
