£22.40 - 22.40 per hour

Part of the Launch team, the position requires resolution of launch issues by the individual where appropriate and communication of the issues back to engineering at Gaydon and Whitley where resolution is not immediately accessible. The engineer will be based at Castle Bromwich assembly plant.

Skills Required:
Good overall Powertrain system knowledge. Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project. Valid UK driving licence. Ability to interface directly to the vehicle programme teams and represent the Powertrain Department. Flexible, adaptable and excellent communicator, both written and oral.

Skills Preferred:
Working knowledge of OEM project delivery and change management processes including GPDS, AIMS, WERS and eFDVS. Knowledge of relevant quality tools i.e. FMEA, 8D etc.

Experience Required:
Powertrain system design/development or programme management. Launch experience.

Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of our client's specific processes, ideally gained in Product Development environment. Knowledge of the Castle Bromwich site.

Education Required:
It is anticipated that applicants will be educated to a degree level in an engineering or automotive discipline. However candidates with significant Powertrain experience will also be considered.

Additional Information:
Some inter-site travel between Solihull, Whitley and Gaydon may be required, but not on a regular basis.
