My client a leading global chemical manufacturer require an experienced Reliability Engineer to join their established team due to sustained growth

Main Duties
To provide professional engineering support for the maintenance and reliability of Instrument and Electrical systems. Ensuring compliance with site standards and external regulatory requirements. The post holder will be expected to lead the team in identifying and implementing IandE improvements to reliability, maintainability, safety, increase rate and quality and reduce costs


Job description
-Will be responsible for Improving I&E Scheduled maintenance procedures
-Manage specific projects using direct and contract resources
-Work with shutdown teams to co ordinate programs
- Support the Engineering and Project team in the initiation / development of capital project scopes
- Lead or participate in Reliability Improvement Teams/ Continuous Improvement Teams
- Will be expected to produce management reports, capital investment proposals and maintenance instructions or training materials.


Key skills and experience
-Candidates should be Degree educated in electrical, control or instrument engineering
- Knowledge of a wide variety of industrial IandE systems and equipment gained in a maintenance environment
-Ideally candidates should be chartered or working towards chartered status
- Working knowledge of current legislation and statutory requirements
-Experience and safe operation of High Voltage (HV) networks
- Experience of HAZOP participation
-Candidates should have very strong problem solving skills including 6 Sigma, RCA, FEMA and RCM
