Inspection Technician-Aerospace/FAIRS-Contract

Our client acquires, develops and applies new ideas and improved components to support their customer's products. They also offer design, development, manufacture and software services and products to the aerospace, space, energy and transport industries. A small Quality team based in a modern manufacturing facility, the emphasis is very much on quality servicing some major aerospace firms such as GE, Goodrich and Pratt and Whitney.
This is a role that would suit a Quality Engineer or Inspector, this role is predominantly First/Last article inspection completing FAIRS to AS standards (they have achieved Rev C also) to a tight schedule.
You must feel comfortable in this type of role as you"ll be working in a very small team, you"ll need to have experience in the Aerospace sector also, in particular FAIRS on very detailed parts (components from gas turbine engines). The firm are very busy so you must be able to start straight away, a contract role initially for 6 months on very good rates and a day shift pattern.
