Technical Sales Engineer

A World Leader in diesel applications technologies are now looking for Technical Sales Engineer to be based at their client site in Coventry.
As the Technical Sales Engineer your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for engineering and commercial liaison with the customer covering areas like Purchasing, Engineering.
Production and Quality in support of business activities
Formulate commercial proposals relating to project acquisitions/quotation from concept through to series production and beyond.
Assist in negotiation and be responsible for reaching a good business agreement.
Provide core support to project Teams Technical Sales Activities.
Provide Engineering/Technical support to customer development and test departments throughout the programme development phase and beyond.
Liaise/network with other business units/divisions/areas to be informed of up-to-date knowledge of business environment and ensure best practice and consistency of engagement with customer.
The successful Technical Sales Engineer will hold an Engineering or Science related degree or equivalent with the ability to work independently on global automotive projects You will have experience of full engagement with all levels of business organisations and clients.
Experience in related diesel fuel system technical sales and the ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately.
Must be an effective negotiator with good written and verbal communication skills
Must have high numeracy level with accurate reporting ability
This position requires some travel therefore the successful applicant must be able and willing to
travel within the UK and outside the EU at short notice. Must have valid driving license.
German and French written and speaking language skills would be an advantageous.
