A successful and expanding automotive tier 1 supplier of suspension and steering components is growing its technical capability and winning major new business. It is seeking a machining centre setter (not operator)on a permanent basis.
An experienced setter is required to work mornings/late shifts (6-2; 2-10) on the set up of a number of 4 and 5 axis machining centres. This is not an operator position but a true section setter position. You will set up new tooling, alter program parameters, rectify error codes and resets.
Previous experience in a setter capacity on machining centres is essential. Siemens controls are used but training will be given for Fanuc, Heidenhain or other users.
£10.43/hr + £1.08 shift allowance PAYE (£15 Ltd)
