Catia V5 Injection & Blow Moulding Air Intake Designer

£24.60 - 24.60 per hour
To support Powertrain Air Intake department with CAD modelling. Packaging and tool design feasibility, including releasing drawings in CATIA V5 and TCE. Applicant must have CAD (Catia V5).
Design and surfacing experience to allow moulding supplier to "make to print".
Applicant must have previous experience of injection and blow moulding component design and have the knowledge to design plastic parts with manufacturability and packaging in mind.
Skills Required:
CAD CATIA V5 / Team Centre Engineering.
Release of Engineering drawings to support "make to print" components.
History as a CAD designer/engineer for a major OEM or supplier. Applicant "MUST "provide formal CATIA V5 Training certification.
Skills Preferred:
Design of plastic components - injection and blow moulding. Tooling design in support of blow and injection moulded components.
Experience Required:
CAD CATIA V5/Team Centre Engineering.
Education Preferred:
Engineering Degree preferred.
Additional Information :
Expected to move to Gaydon Q4 2012.
