Strategic Pricing Analyst

Our client is Global manufacturer and supplier of Pneumatic components, associated equipment and assemblies.

Due to rapid growth, they have an immediate requirement for a Strategic Pricing Analyst

As such, if you feel you have the presence, background, ambition to meet and surpass the requirements below, please send your CV for consideration: Collection, analysis and evaluation of data to support the site s price strategy and route cause analysis to assist in identifying improvements and current pricing effectiveness.
Making pricing recommendations, taking into account customer value, competitive markets and production costs on Quotations and Annual reviews through Pricing Cell activity.
Support projects and business development initiatives.
Follow corporate guidelines and initiative.
Assist in the Planning and Implement of any new pricing system specified by corporate.
Produce reports for Management use including journey assessment data.
Work alongside Field sales to optimize selling prices.
Work with Internal Technical team to develop enquiry to quotation processes.
Participate in all relevant lean activity driving continuous improvement.
Travel and work from any location as and when required within the UK.
Undertake additional duties and special projects as required.

• BTEC qualification or similar in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Accounting or related field with a minimum of 2 years business experience within a related field of expertise.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent P.C. skills with proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access and formula s / Database Queries.
• Mainframe computer skills -J.D. Edwards skills desirable.
• General understand of manufacturing processes, practices and cost accounting a benefit.
• Must be able to maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping pricing information confidential.
• Be prepared to work from other locations on a temporary basis.
• Effective planner and organiser
• Must be able to drive
