Electrical Project Engineer

My client part of an International Group, with a very strong engineering reputation globally, they have achieved a record order book in the previous year, and projections for the same and higher for 2012
-Offer comprehensive design and manufacturing facilities
-Specialise in the bespoke project and manufacture of large heavy plant for various industry sectors, including Power Generation, Nuclear and Utilities
Main Duties
-Will be responsible for running the Electrical aspects of various Turnkey Projects from the initial Design work through to on site commissioning.
-Project Management of Electrical Engineering and controls projects from tendering through to commissioning
-To design and program PLC / SCADA systems for various industries
-Prepare Tenders and Estimates
-Design Electrical distribution and motor control systems
-On site commissioning both in the UK and Worldwide
-Will be working on complex and bespoke projects across a variety of industry sectors
Key skills and experience
- Candidates should be educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
-The above should be supported with industry experience of working on complex Engineering Projects
-A knowledge and understanding of AC/DC drive systems and/ or Hydraulic systems is preferred
