Continuous Improvement Manager

First tier automotive supplier of mainly plastic components with an excellent order and currently developing an additional manufacturing facility. Processes include plastic injection moulding, paint and assembly. They have an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and delivery.
Work closely with the Operations Director to deploy proven operational and methodological standards and best practice. Develop an excellent relationship with plant management and staff to continuously improve the processes. Capitalise on best practices and participate actively on WCM networking. Must have a good grasp of 5S,SMED, Visual management etc. Ideally with good automotive experience with excellent communication and analytical skills.
Develop the manufacturing processes by working closely with plant management and staff. Develop the continuous improvement culture and encourage the use of 5S, SMED, scrap reduction initiatives etc
