Engineering Automotive Door Specialist

Specialist Engineer for Door Systems (Handles, Locks and Mechanisms) for forward model programmes.
Skills Required:

Proven Project management capability; demonstrated by recent delivery on time and budget. Engineering knowledge of Doors systems and Mechanisms component design, function, performance, production and manufacturing requirements. Excellent communications skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels. PC Literacy; Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc. Significant experience in use of engineering tools; FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc.



Skills Preferred:

CAD Literacy; ability to manipulate and interrogate CAD data and use associated visualisation tools. Ability to generate CAD data in Catia v5 would be an advantage. Knowledge of Electrical Systems. Working knowledge of project delivery processes; GPDS/FPDS/PPAP. Working knowledge of change management processes; AIMS, WERS, PACN.
Experience Required:

Successful history of project management delivery ideally within the automotive sector.



Education Required:

Ideally degree educated.
