Privately owned spring manufacturer are currently looking to recruit a Quality Manager to work in there Worcestershire offices. They design, manufacture and supplyi springs, snap-rings, wire forms, clips, clamps, stampings, and a variety of sub-assemblies, into various industrial sectors. They have expanded to 13 worldwide locations.
An experienced Quality professional to manage the effective and efficient running of the Quality System, Environmental System and the Quality Department.
DUTIES / RESPONIBILITIES:
Ensure customer quality requirements and procedures are met and adhered to.
Ensure the company adheres to its quality and environmental systems in line with the requirements of TS16949 and ISO 14001.
Provide support to engineering department, in particular, APQP and IMDS.
Responsible for delivering on time PPAP submissions.
Ensure that all production personnel and new starters receive adequate quality training in order to perform their duties in line with company policy and procedures.
Ensure a system is in place for calibration of quality inspection gauges, tools and machinery.
Facilitate corrective actions / continuous improvement initiatives to achieve company quality targets and quality departmental KPI s.
Deal directly with customer quality departments and use team based problem solving initiatives to resolve quality concerns / issues.
Develop, monitor and display metrics for internal / external parts per million and number of customer concerns.
