Multi Skilled Electrician/Maintenance Engineer-Permanent Nights-Automotive-Solihull

This is a permanent nights based role for an experienced maintenance engineer or maintenance electrician who has worked in high volume automotive manufacturing, based in Solihull, you'll be maintaining plant equipment (working to PPM schedules) working to TS and 5S standards.

To be eligible for this role, you'll need to have the following:

- Proven experience in a maintenance role for an automotive or aerospace company (high volume manufacturing) working to PPM schedules and responding to breakdown
- PLC experience (not programming) using Siemens S7
- Full driving licence
- Have completed the 17th edition wiring regs and either apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 educated

This role is to expand the existing and to provide much needed support on the nightshift, an immediate start working on the basis of 4 nights a week. The firm are established, global and fairly bespoke in the work they do, a very RandD based company who have provided specialist products into the mainstream automotive sector.

The hours of work are 2045-0630 Monday to Thursday, on offer is a good permanent salary, shift allowance and nightshift supplement plus benefits.
