Due to growth plans a position of Engineering Manager has become available, and as such we welcome applicants who want a fresh challenge, and meet the requirements below:
As an Engineering Manager, you ll be a key member of a dedicated unit engaged in the technical leadership of a range of new product introduction projects
- Ensuring the product complies with the technical specification and is capable of being manufactured.
- Managing the technical interface with the customer.
- Coaching and supporting a team of engineers in delivering the technical objectives.
- Accountability for all technical deliverables of platform engineering and new product introduction.
- Project technical risk management.
- Understanding the cost impact of engineering change to the product.
- Leading the team through the FMEA process.
- Working with the Technical Project Leaders, and feeding back updates to the teams.A practical appreciation of air handling requirements of diesel or gas engines
- A proven track record in a design or project management capacity, specifically in relation to the release of new products
- A background in engineering design, service delivery or a specialist problem solving role, with a focus on providing diesel engine solutions for cars/trucks
- Significant staff management experience including training and development of staff.
